1. One-Piece vs Two-Piece.
Most commonly found, two-piece toilets are usually less expensive, but one-piece toilets are easier to clean and have a smoother, sleeker look.
2. Bowl Height.
The standard height has been about 14 to 15 inches. However, you may notice manufacturers use terms like “Comfort Height” or “Right Height” in reference to taller bowl heights around 17 to 19 inches. The extra height makes it easier for the elderly or infirm to get on and off, and if you’re tall, it is probably more comfortable, too. But if you’re short or have children, standard height may work better for you.
3. Bowl Shape.
Bowls have usually either a shorter, round front or a longer, elongated front. The round-front bowl saves space for small bathrooms. The elongated-bowl front provides more sitting surface area.
